| Greetings and Thank you for visiting our website! It has been awhile since the last newsletter so time for an update. First off the improvements... We have been busy, busy, busy. Tammy did a superb job in the cabins. They are clean, comfortable, and have that northwoods appeal that you think about when coming up for a vacation. Our goal was to get the two cabins on the lake ready for guests, and ready they were. I know you will be comfortable, and will enjoy the setting Tammy created inside the cabins. We have moved the dock out into the lake... may not sound like much, but this is one heavy dock. Think about two trees with wheels, that is our dock (we will be adding docks next season, but for now this one serves its purpose). A fire pit was added near the beach and the main dock. It is a great place to sit and relax with a roaring fire at the waters edge. A new diesel tank has been installed replacing the older outdated one. With the new lines installed, the generator is running well, and we can get diesel delivered, so I don't have to run to town filling up 5 gal. cans anymore. Sattelite internet connection... this gives us a connection to the outside world. When you need to reach us e-mail is the best way. We have it up and running all day from the time we turn on the generator in the morning, until we shut it down at night. With all the other things from grass cutting, patching roofs, knocking down hornet nests, rummaging through things, running to the dump, it has been a busy summer. And this is all just the tip of the iceburg. Fishing, yes we have taken the time to get out and do some fishing. It is a lot of fun learning the lakes. We are not limited to Pagwachuan Lake, we have access to many bush lakes that will give you the type of Canadian adventure that you are planning. Check out the fishing page for updates, and pictures. Guests, we have had our first customers during the month of August. We enjoyed everyone, and hope all of you had a great time. Everyday was a learning experience for us, as we mold our lodge and do the things that above all make you the customer happy, our goal is for you to have a vacation you will truely enjoy, and remember fondly over a lifetime. Thanks, I must give thanks to some people, without their help, we would not have made the progress we have this summer. To Russ & Sharon, Larry, and Michelle (Tammy's Mom & Dad, Uncle, and daughter), thanks to each of you for all you did helping us get one heavy load, on one wobbly trailor all the way to Canada, plus a thank you for all your help while you were here. Thank you to Barb, Donna, and Carol (Greg's Mom, Aunt, and Grandmother), I didn't think we'd ever get that attic emptied out. You were our first visitors from the U.S., and we really enjoyed our time with you. To Bill and Dennis, thank you for all the scouting you did , and help getting that minnow tank going. And a special Canadian thanks (eh) to Bob and Marg, we can't begin to express our appreciation for everything you have done for us. On top of it all we already consider you close friends. Well, that's it for now. Please check out our other area's on the web site. We have added many pictures from scenery, to fishing, non-fishing, with good friends, and great times.
